Closed containers or cylinders of any kind (e.g., compressed gas, propane, etc.)
Dirt, debris, or waste of any kind (e.g., glass, wood, concrete, asphalt, or other non-metallic materials)
Hazardous wastes as defined under Ontario Regulation 347 (R.R.O. 1990)
Vehicles with propane or natural gas tanks still attached
Any whole refrigeration equipment that has not been certified empty of freon. This includes refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, and de-humidifiers.
Ballast capacitors from lighting fixtures which are not clearly identified as non-PCB
Any items originating, or appearing to have originated, from a grave site, monument, or public property. Benmet will require a proof of ownership for any items in question.
Temperature gauges, thermostats, nanometer switches or any other materials that contain mercury
Combustible or explosive materials
Material containing asbestos

Any material made from or contaminated by asbestos
